Virtual Walk & Run

Cancer hasn’t stopped and neither have we.  CRC staff and volunteers continue to provide support services to those affected by cancer in our community.  We’ve had to learn how to do things a little differently.  And this includes our signature Walk & Run – which is being held virtually on the fourth of July weekend.  We know this is much earlier than our usual October date, but want to encourage folks to get active……….and we could all use a lift in spirits!

Now EVERYONE can participate, regardless of where you live…and you have a whole weekend to do it!

Here’s how it works:​

1. Register online as you normally would
2. Create a personal fundraising page. Then, start your own team or join an established one
3. Encourage family, friends, and others to join you or your team, or to donate
4. Fundraise, fundraise, fundraise! Win prizes!
5. Walk or run during the July 4th weekend. Think of this as motivation to get active, indoors or outside
6. Enjoy  Virtual Zumba & Musical entertainment
   

What’s new (besides going virtual):

1. A free event bandanna great for using as a facemask, head scarf, or dog collar, etc.
2. A colorful event bib and/or tribute sign honoring a loved one. Pin it to your shirt while walking or running
3. Post pictures and/or videos of yourself using hashtag #CRCWalkRun2020
4. Photo Contest
5. Download our social media toolkit
