20th Annual Walkathon & 5K Run another huge success!

We had perfect weather, a great turn out, cool new features (the Event Tent & the Meet-Up Spot for Team photos, etc.) and raised lots of money! The total is currently around $145,000 but more money is coming in every day. We will announce the final total in the December E-news, so keep up the good work…please help us reach our goal of $200,000!! We continue to collect donations for this event through the end of the year.

New this year: Virtual Participants!

We are excited that we had our first team that included participants from 5 different states! It’s For Mama Beth’s team that was formed in honor of Beth Jolles. Beth participated in the event, and she was joined at the same time by loved ones who were running in West Virginia, New Hampshire, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Leigh Dezelan was scheduled to work at Wegmans during our Walkathon & 5K on October 25, but that didn’t prevent her from participating. She walked 2 miles around the inside of the store during her workday raising awareness and support.

We are so grateful to all our “virtual” friends!
