Fitness During and After Cancer Treatment: An IC Research Project

Ithaca College Clinical faculty member and physical therapist, Jill Mayer, along with 7 physical therapy graduate students are conducting a research project at Ithaca College. They are looking to identify individuals who have a diagnosis of cancer (any type) or are newly in remission, and who are interested in receiving an individualized home exercise program. Participants must be currently going through active cancer treatment or are less than 90 days post their final treatment. If this describes you, would you be interested?

Monthly Cancer Research Meeting: Sugar & Cancer

CRC Cares About Kids Offers Supervised Play & Cookie Decorating

CRC Cares about Kids, a new CRC program providing support to families with a parent (or other caregiver) with cancer, now offers supervised play for children whose parents attend the Young Adult Support Group on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:30-7:00pm.

Two area college students will provide games, crafts, story time, and help with home work. For questions or to sign up your child to attend, please contact Monica Vakiner.
