Introduction to Mindfulness 6 Week Series

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until August 12, 2020
Join Gina Newlin, an experienced, Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hr level (E-RYT 500) and Thai Yoga bodywork practitioner, for this weekly 6-session series on meditation and mindfulness. Participants will be introduced to a variety of mindfulness practices including body scan, breath awareness, loving kindness, walking and seated meditation. Through a combination of discussion and practice, participants will work with direct experience to explore how mindfulness can enter any aspect of their day and become more accessible from moment to moment. Participants are strongly encouraged to commit to all 6 classes in order to learn the practices. Classes begin Wednesday, July 8th from 7-8pm through August 12th.
