I don’t think I have ever thanked You
For giving me the strength I need to get through

The courage to face every one of my fears
And keeping my loved ones safe and near

Showing me what a little faith can do
And listening to my prayers when I am talking to You

Answering my prayers when You thought best
And ignoring a few that to me felt like a test

Showing me different paths I can choose on this journey
And the wisdom to choose the one destined for me

Giving me peace where once there was turmoil
And surrounding me with those who are loyal

Giving me the tools and inspiration I need to write
And helping me put thoughts and words on paper each night

Showing me Your never ending unconditional love
And forgiving me when I have doubts about You watching from above

Believing You could fill me with peace and hope
And holding my hand when it was difficult for me to cope

Instilling compassion in the hearts of my medical team
And blessing their healing hands as they take care of me

Drying my tears that still sometimes fall
And sending me angels who love me through it all

Picking me up in the face of adversity
And removing all the negative energy

Protecting those chosen to play a part in my journey
And giving them the strength to continue walking beside me

Blessing me, my friends, and my family with Your Amazing Grace
And a husband who is always there holding my hand every step of this raceÂ

A Peek into the Boutique

Hi! My name is Carla Baudrons, I’m one of the newbies here at CRC, and one of the many things I get to do is serve folks in our boutique. The Emily Virkler Boutique is named for a former client of ours who sadly passed from brain cancer in 2017. Because of her family’s generous funding and your continued support, we’re able to provide people experiencing cancer with free items such as wigs, hats and scarves of all kinds, mastectomy products like surgical bras, breast prostheses, and mastectomy bras, and more.
